Unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below: 1. “KT,” “Platform,” “Site,” “Application,” “We,” or “Us”: refers to the KT Platform, Site, and Application of the Kuwait International Driving Permit and Land Travel Permit Company (Carnet de Passages en Douane) in the State of Kuwait, including its owners, directors, employees, representatives, contractors, and affiliates. 2. “User,” “Customer,” or “Applicant”: any natural or legal person who visits the Site, uses the Application, registers on them, or requests any service through them. 3. “Services”: This includes all electronic services and transactions provided through the Platform, including services for issuing International Driving Permits and Land Travel Permits (Carnet de Passages en Douane), delivery and follow-up services, technical support services, electronic payment services, and other current or future services. 4. "Data": This includes all data, information, documents, files, images, communications, and technical, financial, or personal information provided by the user or automatically collected when using the website or application. 5. "Third Parties": Any entities, companies, service providers, governmental, judicial, regulatory, or technical bodies that are engaged to provide services, operate the platform, or fulfill legal and regulatory obligations.
The platform may collect, process, and store the following data: 1. Personal Data: Such as name, phone number, email address, civil ID number, address, nationality, date of birth, and personal photograph. 2. Official Documents: Such as civil ID card, passport, Kuwaiti driver's license, vehicle registration, and any other documents necessary for providing services. 3. Financial Data: Such as electronic payment data, financial transfer data, and transaction records. Payments may be processed through independent electronic payment service providers. 4. The user acknowledges and agrees to the following: 1. The accuracy, validity, and timeliness of all data, information, and documents submitted. 2. That the platform will not be used for any illegal or unlawful purpose. 5. To the extent permitted by law, the platform, its owners, directors, employees, representatives, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, financial, commercial, technical, or moral damages or losses that may arise from: 1. The use of, or inability to use, the website, application, or services. 2. Technical malfunctions, outages, breaches, or cyberattacks. 3. Delays by governmental or third-party entities. 4. Refusal by any governmental, international, or official body of an international driving license, carnet de passage, or any other documents for any reason whatsoever. 5. User errors or the submission of incorrect data or documents. 6. Any circumstances beyond the platform's reasonable control. Use of the International Driving Permit: The user acknowledges and agrees that the International Driving Permit card is not a substitute for the original International Driving Permit booklet and the valid original Kuwaiti driving license. The holder of the International Driving Permit is obligated to carry and present the original International Driving Permit booklet and the valid original Kuwaiti driving license at all times when using the International Driving Permit or when requested by the competent authorities inside or outside the State of Kuwait. The platform disclaims any responsibility for any refusal, violation, legal action, or administrative action resulting from the user's failure to carry the original International Driving Permit booklet and the original Kuwaiti driving license, or from the expiry or non-compliance of these documents with the regulations and laws in force in the relevant country. Furthermore, the platform does not guarantee the acceptance or approval of any document or transaction by any entity inside or outside the State of Kuwait. The user is responsible for verifying the requirements of the entity or country in question.
The platform reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any request or user account without prior notice if it suspects the presence of: Incorrect information. Forged documents. Fraudulent or illegal activity. Misuse of services. Violation of applicable terms or laws. The platform also reserves the right to take appropriate legal action when necessary.
1. All fees paid for services, delivery, or transactions are final and non-refundable after order processing has begun, unless the platform decides otherwise. 2. The platform is not responsible for any malfunctions or errors caused by electronic payment service providers, banks, or financial networks.
The platform has the right to retain user data, transaction records, correspondence, and documents for the period it deems appropriate, or as required by law, regulation, or operation, or for evidentiary and legal protection purposes.
The platform accepts no responsibility for any delay, interruption, or failure in providing services due to circumstances beyond its control. Including: Government decisions. Natural disasters. Wars. Outbreaks of diseases and epidemics. Technical malfunctions. Internet or communication outages. Cyberattacks. Border or airport closures. Damage to government or electronic systems.
All rights related to the website, application, content, designs, logos, texts, systems, and software are owned by or licensed to the platform, and may not be copied, reused, published, or exploited in any way without prior written consent.
The platform reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or application after the posting of amendments constitutes explicit and final acceptance of those amendments.
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait. The courts of the State of Kuwait shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to this policy or the use of the website, application, or services.
